"The Truth About Truman School" Predictions
Today we will be starting a new book for our class read-aloud. It is titled "The Truth About Truman School." You got to see a really cool book trailer from Mrs. Sticha and you have looked at a Wordle about the book. Based on those two things, what do you think is going to happen in this book? Your prediction must be in full sentences and use correct punctuation. I'm excited to hear what you think!

I think that "The Truth About Truman School" is going to be a book that makes my students think about their actions in and out of school. I also think that it will make my students create DEEP connections with the characters and situations introduced in this book. Lastly, I think that every student will enjoy reading and discussing this book as a class!
ReplyDeleteIn ‘The Truth about Truman School’ I think it will be about some kids are trying to write what’s going on in the school in a newspaper, because they think there’s gossip around the whole school. Second, I think that there are these girls that will try and help, but they want popularity. Lastly, I think the girls will get the popularity they wanted, but soon dislike it, and see what’s going on about the popular kids, and see to find out, but run into trouble, when discovering what’s going on.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction is that 2 people create a wed blog for their school and try and tell the truth. Sometimes what they can say on the internet can be hurtful. Sooner this girl get cyber bullied form a user or 2 users milk and honey she doesn’t know who that is though.
ReplyDeleteI predict that Zebby is the one that’s being bullied and milkandhoney is the one that is cyber bullying. Then about the cyber bullying it got on the newspaper because she ran away from home. Amir is the guy that’s Zebby’s best friend.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction is that i think it will be about people in school bullying one person. Maybe Zebby and Arm are the popular people who bully others. They will post mean blogs on their website.
ReplyDeleteI think it is about people named Amr, Zebby, and Lilly who get cyber bullied or are the cyber bullies. Someone is cyber bullying another person. I think everything that happens is going to be in the newspaper and someone is getting cyber bullied and gets really sad and doesn’t want to go to school anymore.
ReplyDeleteI think the main characters of the book will be Lilly Amr and Zebby. Zebby and her friends make a post about their school so then they get cyber bullied. Then people at her school are going to make fun of them.

Also I think that the girls are trying to tell the truth about Truman School and someone tells mean things to one of the girls. Lastly I think one of the girls are going to be treated like a pig.
ReplyDeleteI think that a guy named Zebby goes to school a lot and meets a guy named Amr and they want to make a school website where people have to tell the truth. I think that Zebby likes the girl Lilly and Lilly doesn’t like Zebby and she breaks Zebby arm. I think After people find out who Lilly really is people are going to start thinking that she is a bad girl.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction about the truth about Truman school there’s a girl at school. They are working on a newspaper about the rules of the school. But some girls break the rules on pick on one of their classmates.
ReplyDeleteLilly gets cyber bullied by Amr at Truman. Amr bullies her so much that she runs away. They are making a news paper so nobody can post anything and there tell them stuff in the newspaper.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction for “The Truth of Truman School” is, there are these 2 girls named Lilly and Zebby that are making a website for the Truman middle school. The Intention of the blog was to tell the truth about there school. Well this one guy names Amr starts posting things about this girl and he is cyber bulling her. She finally gets so upset that she runs away from home.

I predict that Lilly is having a miserable life since all her friends betray her, and made bad rumors about her. She might think that “Nobody cares about me I shouldn’t even be in this world.” She decided to commit suicidal. Zebby and Amr will probably hear about Lilly is gonna kill herself just because of rumors and those mean comments in the websites. They decide to stop her from killing herself.
ReplyDeleteI predict Amr and Zebby are going to tell the truth about there school, Amr and Zebby are going to be the main characters in the book “The Truth about Truman School.” All the boys and girls are probably going to be obsessed with the popular girls and want to be apart with their crew. I think Mile and Honey are going to be the mean girls or buys bulling Lilly.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction is that some on and Zebby gets bullied because a couple school member made a web site. To talk about what’s going on there school and I think that there web site causes zebby to get bullied and I think then zebby might want to hurt self.

ReplyDeleteFor the book The Truth About Truman School my prediction is that a girl named Zebby and she has a lot of popularity and she creates a blog and it all goes wrong. There is a boy named Amr and he bullies her and he puts mean stuff about on her blog and she has no more popularity and everybody bullies her and calls her names. At the end I think Zebby doesn’t do anything and wants to kill her self.

During the cyber bullying, I think people will call others names and post bad things about other people that will cause trouble at Truman school.

I also think it’s about high school drama and that persons friends are trying to help them through it. I am exited about reading this book because I have never read this book and I have been bullied and I know how this Lilly is feeling.

But, students are not using the website correctly and they are cyber bullying and they try to find a way to stop it.

ReplyDeleteI predict that Amr and Zebby are friends and they earn money over the summer and Arm earns enough money to buy a computer. But when they get the money from babysitting in the summer and Amr gets the laptop they start a blog. I think it will get out of control and cyber bullying will start, and I think Lilly will be the one getting bullied. I predict the students from the school that Lilly and Amr go to will create a hate page about Lilly and it will change Lilly’s life forever.
I predict that the book “ the Truth About Truman School” is about a school who makes a school website. Anyone who goes to this school get’s to write on that website but, someone named Milkandhoney is cyberbullying the popular kids. One of the popular kids get’s bullied so much she gets picked on so much every day, she’s afraid she’ll never get her life back.

ReplyDeleteAmy, Zebby, and Lilly are the popular girls. They started to cyber bully this one kid. They didn’t mean to hurt his anyone. But they go too far and finally the person they have been cyber bulling subsides. Everyone finds out who did this and the girls get in big trouble and they are not popular anymore

ReplyDelete4)A place that I went over break was iowa I went to iowa for my grandmas birthday/Christmas party. I drove to iowa with my grandma and grandpa and we stayed at my grandmas house for 3 days.The second to last day we had the Christmas party many people were there lots of cousins. I had to help my grandma set up finally every thing is set up and people just start arriving.Everybody just hangs until the whole family is there finally everybody Is there and my grandma says time to eat.So we all get a plate with food and eat everybody is done eating so my grandma says present time. Everybody gathers in a circle and my little cousin eli hands out presents I was one of the last people to get my present. I open it and I got pjs and everybody says thank you to eachother and every body leaves.
